Sonic Universe 14 Spoilers!

We start off where the preview pages left us, and our heroes having arrived at the Yagyu base, which looks like a pile of rocks but is actually an old temple. Kahn suspects another ambush but Sonic isn't worried, is he ever. They enter the temple to find the leader of the Yagyu ninjas, Regional Boss. What? Is that really his name? He's amused at how confident our heroes sound and pokes fun at Kahn by wondering if he's tricked more saps into being wiped out, which obviously ticks off Kahn. Sally calms him down and he offers to broker piece between the free people and the Yagyu but Boss has a few things they need to take care of. He's willing to meet with Kahn and Sally but he doesn't feel comfortable with Sonic there (Smart man) and isn't in the mood to discuss things in front of children, aka Tails. Tails is NOT happy about this but Sonic ushers him out while Tails tries to point out how not a kid he is! Boss meanwhile explains that before all this bride business, the Yagyu were the...

Anywho, we start with Amy and Antonie running like mad from the Legion. Ant is kind of wishing Sally, Sonic and co. were still here to help but Amy is optimistic that things are going well on their end. Unfortunately they run into more trouble and are surrounded but in a hail of arrows, they are saved by Bon---er Secret Agent Geoffery! While Amy and Ant run for cover, Geoff covers for them, taking care of a few more ninjas and Legionnaires with a flash bomb.

Amy leads them to a secret base via an old tree stump, where they find Bunnie. She of course has heard back from Knux and co. who are doing just fine and chilling on Angel Island (Shouldn't they be hauling tail to help kick out Regina?) and Geoffery expresses surprise that she isn't helping out in the fight. Bunnie reminds him that she's a liability and speaking of liabilities, Nicole appears. Geoffery obviously didn't get the memo about her instant heel turn (And we...

Amy Vs Sally, is that next on Ian's story block in the near future

Because it makes me wonder, if perhaps he has something plan to finally get this settled. I mean if you look at the preview cover for Sonic #213, you see perhaps, who Sally has chosen, or basically what her decision was in #212. So I wonder if Ian, with all the hints, he's thrown our way, if perhaps this year or going into the next (Which is ironically Sonic's 20th anniversary), that if he has a story planned to finally get this settled.

Like perhaps have Sally or someone address the fact (which was only address once in the comics) that even through she has the body of 15-16 year old, she's till mentally the same girl that chased and sent mail to Sonic on a daily basis, and that if she wants to be grown up, she has to get over her obsession with trying to be Sonic's girlfriend.

But hey, that's just my take and opinion on it.

I just have this strong feeling, that Ian will have or has something planned...

"Reading everyone's comments leave me with the impression neither Mike Pellerito or Ian really know what to do with either the characters or the stories beyond regurgitating what came before.

I haven't commented on any of this earlier because I believed it was too soon and I didn't want to be accused of sour grapes or stealing Ian's thunder. The fact is I get e-mail all the time asking me about this character or that storyline, and it leaves me scratching my head wondering if Ian has ever attempted going beyond what any of us did, if he's created a character like a Julie-Su or a Geoffrey St John, or if he's written something like an ENDGAME or THE DARK LEGION that people are still talking about years later.

Vector & Julie-Su?

What are people's opinions on the two of them? Should they become a couple or not? I mean, to me, it seems like Knuckles & Julie-Su aren't really going anywhere further than where they are right now. Over the years, there has been tension going on between Julie-Su & Vector, especially recently in STH #99, where they seemed to spark an interest in each other. Opposites attract sometimes. I don't know. But in my opinion, I think they should, even for awhile at least. Anyone else?
