Its a six page read so be ready... When I saw the title I rolled my eyes. I thought this was going to be a stupid article to guilt trip whites or something. But what I read was actually pretty interesting and it engaged my own perceptions on race and discrimination. Apparently many parents think not talking about race makes their children color blind. When in actuality there is no such thing. Children make associations about the world around them at a very early age but for some reason we try to think that they won't do the same thing with skin color. It's a precarious walk along a tight rope apparently and many parents don't want to give their kids the wrong idea.

I can't agree with everything it says. But I actually agreed with a lot of it. More than I thought I would to an article with a name like The meaning of Life can be found among the infinite variety of expressions and forms that are associated with It.

It can be found when a child is born.

It can be found when a lioness protects a baby deer.

It can be found through the sight of only one visible star in a cloudy sky at night.

Over the span of many years, I have wondered about this concept known as 'creativity' and if it actually exists. This is the story of my discovery of a repressed memory. The general anonymity of the internet seems like a comfortable place to vent this and tell my story, so I will. Before you squick out, know that this isn't a story of an abuse, and the event itself seems very trivial in hindsight. It also may seem very biased against Protestant Christianity if your stupid.

Cardinal Re said the attack on Brazil's Catholic Church was unjustified

A Brazilian archbishop says all those who helped a child rape victim secure an abortion are to be excommunicated from the Catholic Church.

The girl, aged nine, who lives in the north-eastern state of Pernambuco, became pregnant with twins.

It is alleged that she had been sexually assaulted over a number of years by her stepfather.

The excommunication applies to the child's mother and the doctors involved in the procedure.

The pregnancy was terminated on Wednesday.

Abortion is only permitted in Brazil in cases of rape and where the mother's life is at risk and doctors say the girl's case met both these conditions.

About three weeks.

Barely three weeks into the Obama Administration, and he's already meeting my pre-election expectations.

In only three weeks, my post-election opinion has shifted from "he's naive about human nature, without meaningful experience to do his job, yet undeservedly arrogant" to my pre-election opinon of "he knows NOTHING about human nature, economic history, military history...and yet, despite his lack of executive experience, is unbelievably arrogant."

In only three weeks, Obama has:

- Nearly pushed through a catastrophic "stimulus" bill (with only a minuscule fraction going to infrastructure, with most of it consisting of pork) that he says we must pass or else the economy will slide into a depression that we could 'never recover' from. (Accompanied with plenty of partisan sniping. Whatever happened to the 'Great Uniter'?)

Libya's head of state, al-Qaddafi, essentially brushed off the idea of a two state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, citing the likelihood that such a move would only breed more hostility and further undermine what little stability is to be had at present.

Hello All, I Want to talk about somthing that seems to have been bugging me for the bast year or so...one common yet untalked about type of prejudice...AGEISM!

What is ageism you might ask...well its the Act of Judging some one by there age of course...and i don't just mean saying someones old or an annoying little kid...but i mean saying some one is to Old to like somthing.

I myself am in my late teens...and have had to put up with this time to time....I myself am an avid fan of Cartoons/Anime and Comics/Manga. and things like card games and Transformers....From time to time....But the one thing that bothers me is that On occasion I have been called odd in such undertakings....For example...I bring a comic or manga to school to read after i have finished my assignments...My lab partners...To OK looking...But extremly rude young ladies asked me why I was reading "Kid stuff" I then spent a good 5 or so minutes explaning that Most...
