A plan born of desperation, conceived in response to the imminent destruction of their home worlds.

As plans for the evacuation began, unmanned probes were sent into deep space to find a habitable planet. When a potential site was discovered, the first interstellar transport ship, Pioneeer 1 was sent to establish a colony.

Pioneer 1 confirmed that the Planet Ragol was a suitable location, and the inital colonists started preparing the planet for the main wave of refugees, beginning with the construction of the Central Dome.

7 years later...

Pioneer 2 completed it long voyage with the main wave of reguess aboard. But as Pioneer 2 entered orbit and opened a communications link with the Central Dome, and enormous explosion shook the entire planet. All contact with the thousands of men...

He was not the dominant species that he is today no he was a slave to creatures that were beyond understanding. The scene: Somewhere in the abadoned wild west. A wide and barren plains, devoid of nearly anything other than the occassional mountain in the distance, dotted with cactus trees here and there. The only noticeable point of interest is the two parallel train tracks, and the two men who are by it. One of them is lying on the tracks, strapped and bounded by worn leathery ropes, a large muscular man dressed in bright purple and green spandex with the letter 'C' emblazoned on his chest. He squirms desperately to free himself of his bonds, as his atagonist, dances wildly atop the tracks next to him.

The heavily fortified underground base once held great minds and concepts of war and peace unheard of to the common people. Within this fortress, was now housed one of the greatest of those concepts. It was meant for something grand. However, to the world's detriment...it had goals of it's own.

The device was the most powerful supercomputer on Mobius, housing one of it's most brilliant brains. This project was known as EGGMind. Sadly, instead of dedicating itself to solving the world's problems, it instead coveted the world as it's own. The first action of it's mad goal, was to use it's power to gain control over all of the machines of Mobius in a bid to take control. When this failed, it launched every nuclear, biological, and chemical WMD throughout the world, causing a holocaust of horrific proportions.

Now, the last remnants of the human and anthroid Mobians struggle to survive against not only the myriad mutant predators and...

Hi, all! Just wanted to toss these ideas out to see if anyone would be interested in RPing any of these scenarios…

Atomic the Hedgehog: Alternate universe Mobius is incinerated in nuclear war. How do Sonic, friends and foes live in this dark and dangerous world? (hint: Sonic as a road warrior? Blaze wielding nuclear fire?)

Four Swords and Eight Emeralds: Sonic and company (as fantasy characters wielding sword and spell) quest for items of power (the story's namesake) in various fantasy and fairy tale settings (most or all with a Zelda look and feel)

Sonic Zero: X and Zero are reconstructed via the discovery of Biometal ZX and interacting it with nanomachines from New Mobotropolis. The two Reploids join forces with Sonic and the Mobians.

Dead Mobius: Residents of Mobius combat a zombie plaque. 'Nuff said.

I know I've never written in you before, didn't see much point. Heck, I only bought you because I was drunk and it seemed like a good idea at the time... heh. Oh well. I'm rambling, lets start over.

I appear to be in a bit of a pickle. Here's the problem, I decided that it would be a good idea to get away from it all, all the stress and wierdness of living in the city, all the responsibilities of modern living, all of it, and get a nice vacation. So I booked a holiday, and hopped on this coach off to... well, to be honest, I can't even remember, it didn't matter to me as long as there was sun, a bar, and people without adequate clothing. Ahhh, that would be nice right now.

But of course, something went wrong.

The coach crashed. Went right off the road, the driver (Rest in peace) was hopped up on goof balls or something, we drove like a madman, completely off course, tore out the satnav...

Harper City

Harper City, a town full of mystery, the only thing is the citizens don't realize it. Harper's city is a little town somewhere in the United States (nobody is really sure where). It was founded by Roger Harper in 1912. Starting out as a small town called Harpersville, it soon became a buzzing city. Unfortunately, Harper did not live to see that, or the renaming of the town to Harper City in 1945, he died of lung disease in 1932. It was then that the city decided to start electing mayors to run the place (up until then Harper was in charge).

Most recently the city has been graced with the presence of the beloved, Mayor Kollins. Under Kollins leadership the city has flourished. It was Kollins who brought new technology, such as the microwave and computer, to the city. He also is credited with building the Kollins Institute for the Criminally Insane, which helped solve the massive crime problem Harper City had been having.

It doesn't look like much at the moment, it's a work in progress... literally. It's a story that borrows some elements from two old RPs also started by Rico.First one is linked here, the second right here. Both are worth taking a look at, although they were never completed. However, the older RP does have some general universe information. Plotwise, I'll try to explain things as I go along. All the other stuff... you'll have to ask Rico. I'm useless. XD

OCC: Alright, this is my first attempt at an RP, so work with me on this. If you couldn't tell by the name this RP it is meant to be a somewhat humorous spoof on disaster movies, the RP is also falls under the survival and adventure categories. The story is fairly simple, you live in Houston, TX and you hear on the new that a twister is coming, but it's no ordinary twister. See what happened was the twister made contact with a secret government base. That base was specialized in making radioactive snakes. The base is destroyed by the twister and the snakes get sucked up into it. You and the rest of Houston then hear that the city is about to be hit by the Snake Twister, the twister's category, venomous (sorry I really wanted to do that). Okay so here are a few rules to look at before you begin.

Before I begin, I would like to say that this will be more or less of a fanfiction rather than a roleplay, but this seemed like the best place to put one of this type, and I shall explain why in a little bit. The rules are simple: Take the post before yours and continue the story for a "short" bit while using your character an those of the other posters. Be sure, however, that you keep them in character, or at least what little of it would be involved in this, truthfully. The objective genre is action comedy. I'll accept romance as well, but that not truly what this is aiming toward. Sonic characters and your own characters are permitted, as well as characters from other games. OOC:WHOO, Digimon! This RP is set in a world where the only people who know about the Digital World are the ones who have been there before. I'm going back to the awesomeness of Digimon Adventure 1 and 2. It takes place after the X-evolution movie, so X Digimon are okay. As usual the Digital World is in peril and a new generation of Digi-Destined have been chosen. You can use just about any digimon you want to. But they're lowest form must be at least the champion level(example:Leomon). If you can't find a digimon that you want, just make your own. You can keep it simple or go completely overboard, I don't really care. You can use a digivice from any of the series, or make your own! If you have any questions, message me. Tails swished his twin tails in a curious, and yet cautious manner as he hid behind a bundle of rocks upon a somewhat secluded ledge. He placed a palm upon the ice-cold surface of the rock he was behind, peaking through the corner at the base before him.
A massively guarded set of headquarters was his desired location. It was swarming with convoys of state of the armed robots, alert and on guard as well as the heavy surveillance that came in the form of towering pole-containing-swarming beam headlights, cameras, and red trip wires that darted all over the place
