Retro for the most part refers to games we once played on older systems that at the time were fun just for being fun. Retro and nostalgia almost go together in this sense. 10 years in gaming though...that's a pretty big gap considering technology doubles like ever 5 minutes is it[don't quote me on that...but it's ridiculously stupid...whatever the number is]? So I mean...retro is pretty much whatever my first system was[which in this case was the SNES, then the Genesis]. So seeing a SNES/Genesis cartridge only brings back memories of blowing in those things til lungs were exhausted. Thus, retro. =P "If challenge had a taste...you'd be quite delicious."

Now the question is whether my desire for portable Sonic will outweigh my dislike of buying games I already own two or three times.

Sonic Team'd... then, I would gladly pay for it. Heaven knows I hate dragging my laptop around with me to play S3&K in public places.
