He's On Fire!! So you all may remember a game by the name of NBA JAM. Created by no longer game company Acclaim in the early/mid 90s, this game makes
NBA Street look like nothing. Better yet...NFL Blitz look like nothing. From my memory this is the first of its kind. Taking a popular sport with rules/iconic
players/etc and totally throwing that out of the window. Well i've been waiting like crazy for Midway to re-release the game on the VC, but it seems that
won't be happening[licensing issues im sure]. 
But wait!!! What's this?!
Boom-Shaka-Laka! Oh yes...it is returning. Let's hope this isn't like Sonic
'06 though...where they claim to be going back to the original formula, blah blah. Maybe EA can actually get it right. I mean it is EA, right?

NBA Jam was one of those rare sports games that I enjoyed playing on the Sega Genesis (I got stuck with a copy of the Craptastic Bulls vs Lakers at the NBA
Playoffs)
